Someone who had extreme buyer's remorse after the Brexit vote and who vowed to make up for their past actions.

This isn't that hard lol. Hatred of Trump and his "ugly American" personality is almost universal amongst Europeans, even those who hold nationalist views themselves. IIRC a majority of AfD, Le Pen, and Lega voters had negative opinions of Trump.

Considering there are 200k U.S. citizens in the UK, and I'm sure a good number of them have dual citizenship, it's not hard to fathom some people doing exactly this.

Well, not an American citizen, but I have an uncle who voted yes on Brexit because he thought that freedom of movement in the EU meant there were too many Europeans immigrating to the UK at the expense of Indians and other Asians. He definitely would've voted for Hillary and Biden.

This; also, plenty of UK “conservatives” would be liberal Democrats here in the US. I recall reading that prominent folks on the Obama 2008/2012 campaign(s) went on to work for the campaigns of UK Conservatives.

Or take the rightish-populist Libertas.eu movement, which was staffed by Joe Trippi
