Aren't alphabets pretty concretely interpreted symbols?

As someone who reads Jay Carney's lies and drivel daily, I find this absurd, ignorant, and bad

Listening to Jay Carney for a while gives you little reason to read Lief's posts.

I wish Jay Carney had the sarcasm and humor of Lief... or even pbrower.

I like trying to be smart but failing Snowstalker better than trying to be funny but failing Snowstalker

Petition to rename this thread after Snowstalker.

Certainly more fascinating (and probably more tragic overall) than the circlejerk Americans are having today.

It's foreign, therefore more important to intellectuals like Snowstalker.

BUSHIE

Have you tried the Pretzel Bacon Cheeseburger at Wendy's?  I had one at lunch today and it just might be the best fast food burger I've ever had.

Put down whatever burger you were planning on having tonight and get one of this things, man.

I don't find the pretzel bc appealing.

Am I the only one who do the responsible thing if I caught HIV/AIDS?

Kill yourself (and the person who gave it to you). It's what any decent person would do.

one of my theories is that the dems will turn more into the Al Sharpton party which will cause a lot of white liberal defections to the GOP. So the dems then become a patronage-ridden race hustling party while the republicans become the white liberal party. You already see this type of stuff happening in New York to some extent.

...

Are we sure there isn't some new forum bug transferring posts from 1983 Usenet discussions into present day?

So apparently JCL's famous on other parts of the internet. Albeit the terrible right-wing Islamophobic parts.

The one below it is better.

Far righties prove once again inclined to be discriminatory and prejudice.

Do we really want more woman posters if they are going to be like this one?

Only people who don't know how money works thinks the budget should be balanced.

In fact, theoretically, the budget never has to be balanced if the deficit is brought within the rate of inflation and thus the debt contained to a fixed percentage of GDP.

Most Americans wouldn't know of or recognize any of these people.  It's doubtful you could get even 20% of Americans to correctly place the name John Major much less Olof Palme.

As for myself, I prefer to call him Almost Carl Sagan.  I wouldn't recognize Mitterand, but know the name.

Folks with kids tend over time, to find there is more merit in the Daddy state, vis a vis the nanny state, than they thought prior to undergoing the experience. They just had to say "no" a lot, just like Daddy does.

Bongs kill brain cells kids.
I don't think it's fair to blame the bong in this particular case.

It's more of a rich white man privilege issue.

Homosexuality is much more prevalent in the African American community. Misssissippi, Louisiana and Georgia have the highest proportions of African American population. Montana has the lowest population of African Americans. Coincidence?

This is more of the same racism we saw in the Huffpo piece.
