If Barrow does run for statewide office, it should either be against Isakson in 2016 or for governor in 2018. After that, I think his time will have passed.

If Barrow lost by 10 in his own (albeit GOP-leaning) district, he's going to have a hard time in GA as a whole.  Granted, he will have a 2016 electorate, but Isakson has incumbency on his side.
