Will there be more polling until Thursday evening, or is there some kind of ban?

Are there reports about turnout during today? Also, polls closed at 8pm, or will they remain open until 10pm?

Polls have closed. No exit polls, it seems.

However, turnout seems to be around 70% this time, just like Diouf said.

I assume that Prague will give strong results for the Pirates and SPOLU. ANO could poll 3rd this time in the capital.

The wipe out of the Communists is another big story. Also, 45% still out from Prague and the margin is getting narrower between ANO and SPOLU.

With 90.5% of the votes counted, 63,997 votes separates ANO from SPOLU. SPOLU just gain one seat from ANO and 39% of Prague is still to be counted.

PŘÍSAHA just surpassed ČSSD. Diouf, do you think that SPOLU could surpass ANO? Every time there's a new update, the margin becomes narrower and narrower.

From what I read, his condition is a mystery as his office is very vague regarding his medical condition and only says he's fit enough to fulfill his constitutional duties as President. It's an odd situation, frankly.

Zeman hospitalized, probably he is in very bad condition
Who becomes acting president should the worst happens?

I assume, if it's like other countries, the Speaker of Parliament assumes the role.

I don't get it, why lie about Zeman's health? It doesn't make any sense. All of this suspicion and doubt about the health of a President of a Republic is very weird. Or is it just Zeman's wish having this cloud of suspicion surrounding him? I mean, this is going on for quite some time now.

Presidential elections are scheduled for next weekend, 13 and 14 January. So far polls are showing a tight 3-way race between Babiš, Pavel and Nerudová. Other candidates have a low voting share and in an imminent 2nd round, both Pavel and Nerudová are predicted to defeat Babiš easily. On the other hand, a Pavel vs Nerudová match would be very close.

The last poll, from STEM:

27.9% Babiš
26.7% Pavel
24.4% Nerudová
  6.4% Fischer
  5.4% Bašta
  3.4% Hilšer
  3.0% Středula
  1.6% Diviš
  1.4% Zima

2nd round poll, also from STEM:

57.0% Pavel
43.0% Babiš

57.0% Nerudová
43.0% Babiš

50.0% Pavel
50.0% Nerudová

STEM poll conducted between 2 and 4 January 2023. Polled 2,008 voters.

Just a 12,510 vote difference between Babis and Pavel with 98% counted. Pavel seems on track to surpass Babis with the remaining Prague votes.
