Like...besides the typical political crap about thin whatever lines, I can never help but get the feeling that that father and son need to get away from those cops as fast as possible.

Given how white Maryland cops are, they should be treated with paranoia, fear, suspicion, and avoidance by every decent person.  They can cop themselves.
