Eharding. Even given how much everyone hates him he's still overrated Tongue

On a scale of 1-10, how much does special relativity confuse you?

Not at all. It's a perfectly natural result if one assumes that the laws of physics look the same to everyone.

If the groundhog predicted 6 more weeks of winter, and the last week of February is full of record highs, does that mean the groundhog got it wrong?

No BS here. Try me sometime, it's really no harder than algebra. Einstein's relativity has been central to my research for almost 40 years, and I've taught the subject for over 20 years.

Many years ago I did a series of science presentations to a local class of first graders. A dozen years later at our local summer festival I ran into a young man home from college. I didn't recognize him when he came up to me, but he introduced himself as one of those first graders. He said he was inspired to become a science teacher, and was taking classes towards that end.

If you had only one week, but unlimited funds, what would be your ideal vacation?

I personally liked it best in the early 2000s.

Would you rather discover a new subatomic particle or a new species of plant?
