Faso ended up losing by a little over 5%, Collins won by only 0.3%, Peter King had the closest race he's ever had as an incumbent, and Max Rose ended up winning by a bit under 6.5% (and I think that was the most impressive House win of the night).

I think the results also show that Katko is hardly an unbeatable titan, and he'd be quite vulnerable in 2020 if the Democrats put forward a serious candidate.

It's insane that Max Rose won by more than Peter King. Also, interesting that Zeldin did end up having a pretty close shave.

It should be noted that NY added more than 400.000 votes to their election night results.

This and other states certifying (like CA and MS), increased turnout to 50.3% in the US (just shy of the 50.4% all-time-high in 1914).

MS now also certified their jungle primary results from Nov. 6 and Espy almost beat Hyde-Smith in that one.

Only CT and WV have not posted their official/certified results yet, even though their websites say they already certified their numbers in late November ...

On Wednesday, the new July 1, 2018 Census Bureau population estimates and 18+ voting age estimates are out for the states.

This could create new benchmarks for the VEP and therefore turnout could change as well, meaning that the 1914 historical all-time-high could be broken ...

Based on my calculations, the downward revisions of the VAP and VEP by about 0.6 million led to a slight increase in turnout:

The VEP is now about 235.1 million and about 118.6 million ballots were cast.

The new turnout is 50.45% and therefore higher than the all-time-record from 1914 for a mid-term with 50.4%

Are there any states that have not certified their official results still?

All states except NC have, but some (like WV and CT) have not posted them on their websites yet.
