I disliked the Houston Astros because they are a rival of Dodgers but when I lived in Chicago I was a Spurs fan and nothing is wrong with Altive, they cheated but everyone cheats Clemsons, Sosa, McGuire and Bonds aren't getting into the Hall because of Roids

Alot of fans that everyone cheats in sports just like politics both parties are crooked that's why there aren't mandatory Federal jobs it's reserved forcthexrich and powerful DOJ is ran by Federalist since Jay Edgar Hoover

If the Cards can figure out their pitching, they could be a dangerous team in the postseason.  Pitching doesn't usually get magically better midseason though.

The Astros are clearly the Dominant team they weren't last yr but Justin Verlander is back, the problem for the Dodgers is they have kept the same core of players Munci, Bellinger and Barnes that need to be upgraded they can't win a World Series again with those three struggling because they beat the Tampa Bay Rays and lost to Red Sox and Astros

It's nice they finally won , I was happy they need to win a Second one against an Elite team

Freeman and Turner were good but the 3 players I named need to go

Charlie Montoyo fired as Blue Jays manager.

A couple really good managers out there for Toronto if they are interested, including Joe Girardi and Jayce Tingler.

Again, Munci is playing so bad the Cubs are looking to trade Contreras and Dodgers need a backup catcher, Astros have Castro and Marchardo who do the Dodgers have other than Smith, they need Congress to beat the Astros but I am not a  Dodgers fan, they care about pitching and Dustin May got shelved and no one heard from him

It's not embarrassing because the only team that can beat the DODGER is in a Playoff format ASTROS, Justin Verlander is healthy and it's very difficult to hit at Minute Maid  Park to hit homers with that crowd noise for opposing team

Dodgers can hit at NY Stds it's just like Dodgers STD but Astros play I'm a Dome

That's why they lost to Astros in 2017 and only beat the Rays not Red Sox to win a World Series they need Wilson Contreras to beat the Astros he is on the market but they will have to get rid of Cody Bellinger and Justin Turner is close to him

Dodgers need to get rid of Barnes, Bellinger and Munci to get Contreras, Cubs say they are going full minor leagues

Mark Pryor is Dodgers pitching coach and can negotiate with the Cubs but does he want to, we don't know he does everything Dave Roberts tell him and right now they're not trying to get Wilson Contreras, Pryor like Baker for Astros played for Cubs

That's why Cubs and Dodger fans like each other because of Dodger blue and Mark Pryor

So, Dodgers beating teams isn't out of the ordinary they have Justin Turner, Trea Turner, Freeman and Betts and Will Smith All Stars but they need Wilson Contreras to ensure they beat the Astros but I was a Spurs fan I can root for Astros the Astros cheat but all sports cheat Jordan gambled on games

Just like Rams gonna get to playoffs but can Chiefs, Tampa, or Packers beat them, they didn't play Chiefs or Packers last yr yes they can

Maybe they're seeded by # of HR (or HR/game) this year?  Schwarber has 28, Alonso has 24.

Just when the trade rumors started to swirl Dodgers started to win, but aren't they pursuing Wilson Contreras, Marchardo and Castro, Justin Verlander and Dusty Baker are waiting for them at Minute Maid Park, it's very difficult for some teams to hit in a Dome that's why Arizona DBacks won a World Series they have a Dome, you need 2 catchers to beat an elite team in the World Series Tampa was an All Star team Dodgers beat but they're not an elite team that's why last yr Dodgers lost to Braves and it's frustrating because Mark Pryor has ties to the Cubs but Dave Roberts obviously doesn't want to give up Bellinger for Contreras

We have the big star that could be moved at the trade deadline. Juan Soto is on the trading block.

Quote
The Washington Nationals are willing to listen to trade offers for Juan Soto after the star outfielder rejected their most recent long-term offer, league sources confirmed to ESPN on Saturday.

Sources said Soto turned down a 15-year, $440 million offer that would have been the largest contract in baseball history.

Soto had told ESPN earlier this year that he had declined a 13-year, $350 million offer before the offseason lockout. He is eligible to become a free agent after the 2024 season.

So, who will wind up with Soto? The Mets? The Yankees? The Dodgers? The Astros?

Fox Sports had a really bad night last night. For some reason, they decided to superimpose Yankees and Red Sox graphics over the 9/11 memorial.

Quote
Fox Sports apologized Sunday after placing a Baseball Night in America graphic over a shot of the 9/11 Memorial during its Saturday night broadcast of the New York Yankees' 14-1 win over the Boston Red Sox.

Needless to say, they've been universally condemned for that.

Everyone cheats. I mean shaming the Astros is like shaming the Russian Olympic team but there's no doubt China, Iran, and North Korea probably have a state doping program no one is looking at.

Juan Soto is your 2022 Home Run Derby champion, defeating Julio Rodríguez.

Pete Alonso's 3-peat bid got stopped by Rodríguez, as Alonso got eliminated in the 2nd round.

Albert Pujols went to the 2nd round before Soto eliminated him.

Starting with this edition of the MLB All Star Game, any game tied after 9 will have a home run derby to break the deadlock.

MLB.com:
Quote
Beginning with Tuesday night’s All-Star Game presented by MasterCard and continuing at least through the life of the current collective bargaining agreement, any All-Star Game tied after nine innings will be settled not with extra innings but with an All-Star Tiebreaker decided by dingers.

The managers of the American League and National League squads will each select three players (and one alternate, in the event of an injury) on his roster who have agreed to participate, as well as three coaches to throw batting practice. Each player will get three swings, and the team with the highest combined homer total after those three rounds will be declared the winner of the game.

Can we just get rid of the All Star game after this year? I've never really been a fan of the concept, and stunts like this just prove it.
