This guy is awful. People really need to take off their blinders and stop thinking they will get another term of Obama (whatever that means to them) through him.

B-b-b-but I thought Biden was a WWC #Populist Purple heart Hero who "really gets it", while Millennials are entitled p*****s who are the worst generation ever because something something PC culture out of control at (insert liberal arts college almost no one has heard of here) and reasons!

Nominating Biden would be a mistake. He's a gaffe-machine who would instantly be attacked for being a "Washington insider" and a "career politician." Also, if Bernie is too old, how is that not a problem for Biden, who's just one year younger?

Joe Biden is fortunate to be a former Vice President and even more fortunate to be so closely tied to Barack Obama, those two factors are the only reason he has any support in these early polls. His campaign will implode the moment the Democratic base hears his outdated vision of the country, and the gaffes that come with it.

He said something similar to this a couple months back. Seriously, I dont get why people think this guy, who constantly cannot keep his mouth shut and keeps making controversial comments will:
A. Win the nomination easily
B. Defeat Trump in an absolute landslide

Biden's fall from grace is going to be something to watch. Will be worse than Hillary's collapse after SoS which permanently destroyed her reputation. If he runs he'll probably go from respected elder statesman to joke and persona non grata especially if he gets MeToo'd.

Trump appeals better to millenials than Biden. Trump ran on change and if you hate the way things have been vote for me. Biden is basically like tough s___ millenials. Not a very inspiring message. If dems nominate Biden Trump can run against Obama because he was Obama's VP and Obama is an elite. Trump is still the outsider even though he is president and the dems are the insiders.

He is right, things were much tougher 30 years ago (not to say anything about 50-60 years ago) and young people weren't constantly complaining like today.
But this is more proof that Biden wouldn't have crushed Trump in 2016 as many people say.

LOL, i even prefer Hillary Clinton over him now. I hope millennials are not that stupid to vote for him. My American millennial friends already know.

He indeed sort off reminds me of Hillary Clinton, and this comment in particular reminds me of the "deplorables" comment. It's never a good idea to alienate a fraction of your base, and he's absolutely wrong as well. Economically, baby boomers were much better off when they were students, while life is hard for studenst today, but i agree that race relations and all have improved.

The problem with a comment like this, is how much can you trust Biden on that he'll pay attention to the issues students face right now. The rising costs of education (and fact that they often have to work one or two additional jobs, while most of them should be able to fully focus to their studies, to increase their success rate). Life's definitely become much more expensive, and that's hard for students who don't have a stable income often or have to work in low-paid jobs. I believe - especially in the USA - that they're a very vulnerable group. You can't trust Biden that he'll pay attention to these issues, because he simply won't. He has no understanding of problems students face nowadays.

He can forget to add millennials as a constituency to his coalition, unless millennials are absolutely stupid. And if Beto (and Castro) can secure the Hispanic vote, while Harris (and maybe Booker) are running, his constituency / coalition map might suddenly become a lot harder. I doubt just party loyalists backing them would be enough, and if he loses momentum, party loyalists could easily back Harris or Beto O'Rourke, similarly to how Obama did compared to Clinton in 2008.
