Bushie needs to start off with consistent walking before he gets into weights, Smash.

It isn't like I am asking him to start lifting heavy or anything like that, 10 pound dumbbells is all I am asking him to get.

Well if Bushie was able to find discipline to lose a huge amount of weight, lifting would be key because it heads off any loose skin problems.  You also just look better. A lot of people who don't lift and loose a bunch of weight look sickly. You feel better when you lift too.

Due to poor housekeeping of mirror and frame you can't see it but I can now fit both legs in one of my old pants. I keep one pair to remind myself what I dont want to go back to. I was fatter and didnt start until just before turning 34. Do it for yourself.

First 75 lbs about 4 months, plateau due to other bad habits, second 65-75 about 8 months. Been swinging within same 10lbs for nearly 2 years.

I bought food scale, tracked what I ate and exercised.  I kept a spreadsheet.  I wanted it off fast so I exercised a lot. You can go slower but have to be consistent.

You look good, as well, Jesse.  I'm serious that Patrick has sparked something inside of me.  I want to know what you both did to get down to that healthy weight and then I want to find a way to implement that into my life and my situation.

It's all about execution, Jeff. Patrick was fat. I was scrawny. We both needed to change in order to be our better selves, and we did more than plan. We DID. Talking about wanting to do something doesn't work. Doing something does.

I can't tell you how many times I was in pain lifting weights and changing my diet far beyond what I was accustomed to. But I did it. And I was better for it. So many have done this, Jeff. You can, too. You just have to DO.

Good job Jesse. Yes, you have to as Nike abuses, just do it.  Excuses about weather and improper lighting is failure before you even start.

And LOL at King's clickhole.  I have a size XXXL shirt too Smiley

You're looking healthy and happy, Patrick. I would love to get down that small.  Tell me, how long did it take you to get down to that weight and what exactly did you do?  I ask because you've sparked something inside of me.

Thanks Jeff.  I also look tired but that is from working long hours, finding time to socialize and exercise. Point is, there time enough if you balance and focus on your priorities.  Being tired is better when it is earned.

Well, good effort so far eating healthier and I dont see the big deal about the diet soda.  I still drink the stuff.  I know it is not good for me but better to throw down some Diet Cokes than a case of beer or a pizza. For you, I dont think you need a perfect diet-- find something healthier and that you can stick with.  Re-evaluate when necessary.  Educate yourself too.

I have to defend my friend the ham sandwich too.  I usually grab a lb of lunch meat from target for something quick and easy to have around.  The lean ham is usually only 30 calories an ounce, maybe a gram of fat and a 4.5 grams of protein.  I'll throw that on some light rye bread which is 60 calories a slice. You could have a nice nice sized sandwich for 240 calories.

2 would barely give me a taste.  I want to enjoy it just a bit before they're all gone.  I'm going to stick with 5.

With this being said, we can all stop giving any advise. Bushie doesn't want to diet it lose weight, and is content with dying in the next 2 years.

How can you say that when he's actually taken some steps in the right direction this week? He's eating fruits and vegetables at lunch, his main dish is healthier than Pop Tarts or fast food, and he seems to be open to substantive advice.

When we all pitch him a diet of mango rinds and kale mist, he rejects it. Given small but tangible direction, he seems to have done OK.

Not sure what Andrew will say but his lunch is too many calories with the cookie buffet.

What if God told them to kill a guy though? Then we'd have the right to condemn though, right?

He never contradicts the Bible.  Exodus 20 "Thou shall not kill."  He would never tell anyone to kill another human being.  The only case in which this does not apply is the death penalty.

so many levels of lazy.

1. Drop 50 lbs and then maybe you can think about Braums and spoiling yourself. Dont not try and straight faced tell us that you are trying. 2 days of a turkey wrap isnt a victory. Actually showing up for a week of work isnt either.
2. Way to continually piss away other peoples money on cable and rent.  you made a  phone call...that's not trying
3. You dont even seem to read the one book that you say you study with the above. The Old Testament is filled with God smiting the enemies of the Israelites or giving orders to kill or tacitly approving of what we would call genocide.

I swear Bushie is like a 75 year old.  Reads a facebook "quote" and takes it at face value.

The only thing you said that was correct is that you are in trouble if good works are taken into account.  Have fun being a glutton in Tulsa on everyone else's dime and wallowing in your sin.

That's enough of the end time discussion.  It's only going to turn into a flame war and nobody needs that going into Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Haha, oh let me just casually drop in a line about the leader of the worlds largest church perhaps being in league with the anti-Christ.  Be asked to back anything up with facts, oh its not important never mind its christmas...  Too lazy to even back up your bull$hit theories.

18 months no interest.  I'm not going to say the actual amount.

Oh you dont have to tell me, you got the deluxe model with all the bells and whistles because you have to run all dem high powered CADD programs, that you don't use anyway.

No sleuthing really, I used to work for Best Buy Corporate. But yeah, as soon as he said 18 months I knew he spent a lot more than he needed, as usual. His excuse will probably be as you said, to run some high end CADD program that he'll never run anyway.

So Bushie got sweet talked or was it a hard sell from a Best Buy salesman.  He is really does seem to be a saleman's dream.

IndyTexas, I just signed up from Dropbox and have put my newly updated resume on there and verified I can open it from my laptop.

The cost of the movers includes the moving truck and labor of the men who move the furniture.  Mine and Dad's backs are not strong enough to lift all that furniture.  If I sold all the furniture, I'd just have to buy all new stuff in the near future which would make it much more expensive.

Jeff, even if you didnt have dropbox, dont you have a thumb drive or couldnt you email it to yourself? It just seems you make simple tasks difficult.
