I've always liked power outages in a strange way, it's like an adventure, especially if it's dark out and there are multiple friends or loved ones that have to "suffer" with you.  Sure, long ones suck or if it's hot out they can be downright dangerous, but even those just make the joy you feel when the power finally does come back feel all the more joyful

I would agree is I play all my games single player rather than multi. However, come to think of it I also play all my games on my PC via steam, so I guess my internet connection is necessary. Alas
