He could still technically be VP.  He would just be ineligible to become president, and Ryan would get it instead, assuming he is still Speaker.

Can you imagine time traveling back to 2013 and telling people that there's a hardline conservative latino/woman ticket available to the GOP in 2016 and they choose Donald Trump instead?

She's a white Texan married to an Italian. Nothing Latino about her.

I guess the plan is to beat Trump in California (or at least prevent him from getting enough delegates), and then force a brokered convention where a Cruz-[not Fiorina] ticket is chosen as a "compromise" between Cruz and some other faction (Trumpists or establishmentists).

It's an interesting plan, but I doubt it will work.

This is sad; Ted just said Carly was the next VPOTUS. Also, this playlist makes me feel like Cruz only thinks IN is some hick state.

Sure, if you like music about beer, trucks, mama, or "country cuties" (I assume they're the fat blondes from Alabama who have three mixed children by 24?). I guess it's better than Hillary Clinton's $10K Katy Perry playlist.
