I know this is mild attention whoring, but...

Today I sent in my application for a summer internship at Kay Hagan's Office.

I applied for an internship last year with Mary Landrieu, but nothing came of it. Over the summer, I went to Hagan's D.C Office; this was right when the new redistricting maps came out. Of course, I had studied the maps quite a bit, when I heard Hagan's staff talking about the maps, I pretty much gave them a lecture on the statistics of the new districts. The Press Secretary was impressed and encouraged me to apply for an internship. So wish me luck!

THey must have a late deadline. I applied to Lindsay Graham's office like 2 weeks after the deadline and got rejected immediately. All the SC senators deadlines are like March 1. Crazy early. Good luck though. I'll be working in some hard-nosed firm this summer near home I suppose.
