Because Clinton is loyal to her friends. I don't think DWS was a good DNC chair (far from it) but she did not deserve most of the hatred she garnered. And through this email leak fiasco, there hasn't been a single shred of evidence that DWS did anything to hurt Sanders. She's being offered up as a sacrificial lamb to sate the idiots crowing for blood, but ultimately no one is going to care if she is the honorary head of a program.

I'm in the tank for Hillary at this point, but its hard to argue with the old adage that the Clintons don't feel that the rules apply to them
