Yes, clearly The Sun is worse than the Russian govt.
Well, it's more influential in Britain. And I don't remmember the Russian government ever stating that Bulgaria is a breeding ground for AIDS.

No, but when I try to gauge the reliability of a source, I like to check first what they say about a subject with which I'm very well acquainted. If (as in this case) their information is absolute rubbish, then I know that I should take their news with a grain of salt (or in the case of the Sun, several truckloads of salt).
