Leahy, Richardson, and Casey have all come out and said that Clinton needs to drop out.  Couple that with Pelosi essentially telling the big Clinton donors to shove it and you've got quite a few people either calling out right for Clinton to quit or making it abundantly clear that they want her to drop out even if they don't say so outright.  It seems the pressure is finally building for her to quit so Obama can begin focusing on beating McCain.

Could this be the beginning of that 50 superdelegate onslaught we heard about?  Could it create an endorsement wave that will essentially clinch the nomination for Obama within a month?

If this is true, time for me to switch to McVain.

It would certainly be a change from the way the Democrats are operating so far. Although it would be embarrassing for him to get all these Super Delegates and then lose Pennsylvania by 15-20%, get slaughtered in Indiana, West Virginia, and Kentucky. But, it will be bad either way. I don't think she drops out and I don't think they force her out, for now. I imagine some of the Dem big wigs are weary of Obama now.

Doubt it. Unless Obama preforms better than expected in PA and shuts her out in Indiana and North Carolina. Then I can see her dropping out.

In the unlikely event of Clinton losing PA, it's feasible that the whisper will become a roar

It may very well become a roar.  But I can see Hillary somehow convincing herself that Pat Leahy, Ted Kennedy, John Kerry and Nancy Pelosi are all part of some vast, right-wing conspiracy.  So she will ignore the roar.

Hope I am wrong.

Considering Clinton, even if she doesn't have the lead in delegates could have the lead in votes at the end of this process even if they do come out I doubt it will mean much.

Basically, if Hillary gets a net gain of 60-65 or more elected delegates at the end of the process, this becomes a very nasty credentials/floor fight.

Because this is at the end of the process, a potential string of victories could boost her with the super delegates.

Padfoot, the Obama people have been calling on Hillary to drop out for quite some time now, ever since February when it became clear that she could never possibly catch up.

Unless she cleans his clock in PA, a roar might be an understatement.

The correct time to do this was after Wisconsin IMO.

I'm not sure about a roar, but it has caused a backlash by some.

I doubt it. Regardless of what they do the odds of her winning PA are pretty good. If they tell her to drop out and she wins the next primary it's gonna be a huge embarassment to the Democratic leadership. I don't think they want to live through that.

True, though it would have been ignored then.  Same as it will be ignored now.

in the unlikely event she loses Pennsylvania, I think she'll have to drop out.
