I live on planet Earth. My very first college roommate was Muslim. A Muslim colleague has exited my office about 3 minutes ago.
Actually, I should correct a bit. My very first college roommate was a Confederate-flag waiving la crosse playing jock, who, probably, thought he was Christian (if he ever thought anything at all: on that last point I myself remain agnostic). However, after about 3 days in our freshman year he disappeared into some girlfriendīs room and I never saw him again. So, technically it was my second college roommate who was a Muslim (it was the first roommate with whom I ever had a conversation).
