Heartbreaking. But how do we prevent kids from being used as a tool by their parents to stay in this country illegally?

I wouldn't deport the kids, I guess, and neither the parents until the kid was 18. Any DACA policy needs to balance humanity with rule of law.

Of course the jackbooted goons in the White House have no nuance beyond looking at skin color. And apparently neither do many Republicans.

Great news!

If the liberals are so upset, they can cut a deal.

Picture this:

Your parents crossed the border illegally with you, their 5 year old son, in order to make a better life in America. They both found jobs and worked hard to support themselves and their beautiful son. They enrolled you in a public elementary school and you went through the entire American public education system, got a job, and worked hard to put yourself through your local community college. You made many friends along the way, lived most your life in America, and met the love of your life. You're now about to settle down with your high school sweetheart.

There's a knock at your door.

GREAT NEWS! ICE puts you in handcuffs and ships you off to some detainment facility. They're planning on deporting you back to Mexico. A country that's completely foreign to you.

With teachers unions artificially boosting the price of our extremely expensive government education industry complex, that person is walking out with $150k or so in his head.
And now you'll ensure they never "pay it back" because they'll be taking their skills to Mexico.  Everyone loses here.

But you know that, and you like it.  Because you're a piece of sh**t.

Yawn. It wasn't my idea to give illegals access to the government education industry complex.

The real reason your failing political party wants to keep the illegals around is so that you can grant them amnesty, have them vote for your candidates, and then maybe you can win elections for a change.

If you really want to stop the illegal invaders like this one, you could build the wall plus have ICE  deportation squads nip the 'problem' in the bud rather than let it linger for (from this fact pattern) 13+ years. Obviously that doesn't align with your political goals. Sad!
Someone should rub your face in your own sh**t, you dog.

Dude is trolling. arent his posts at RRH are more serious. I don't think anyone's offering a serious argument against DAcA.

Remember when all the Atlas Democrats started sneering at us that he'd break all of his promises after the election? They've been wrong once again. The more they predict bad things for us, the better things become.

But in concrete terms, how is Trump delivering, beyond the executive orders? A lot of this is Obama in reverse, where he uses a lot of executive authority that is obviously written on sand. My critique of this president is that he's acting a lot like Obama, minus the mandate, and is carving out a legacy that will be reversed, a lot more than Obama's legacy will be reversed.

We're 30 days in and it's way too early to tell, sure, but I am just wondering the direction here ...
