When asked if he was excited for today, Paterson responded "Yes, I'm always excited for St. Patrick's Day" and when asked if he had ever been with a prostitute he responded "only lobbyists."

He's also poking fun at his own blindness in his swearing-in speech.

Seems like my kind of guy!

He'd already used the lobbyist joke earlier.

That wasn't in the speech. I was referring to when he used it the first time. Sorry for not being clear on that.

I just finished watching the inaugural address.

I think I found my new favorite Governor. He definitley gets my vote for favorite based on personality.

Well, racists and blind-haters, I assume.

But his speech was very good, and pretty funny.

Nobody even seems to care that admitted to getting his own kicks on the side.

Nobody even seems to care that admitted to getting his own kicks on the side.

There's a thread on it in the General Discussion.

The difference is that what he was doing wasn't illegal, his marriage was on the rocks at the time, and his wife was having an affair too...not that any of these things justify it. He and his wife were honest and open about it.

I could care less about, of course. I wish the best of luck to Gov. Paterson.
