Cuomo is trying to be a combination of Donald Trump and Ralph Northam. The problem is, he doesn't have the fanatical supporters of Trump and his lieutenant governor isn't a rapist. And yeah, the WH should step in.

Only one group of people ultimately matters in Democratic primaries and GEs for that matter and it's the mainstream media. Hillary's achilles heel has always been that the MSM hates her; they even got Trump elected obsessing over her emails. Unless that changes, Hillary's political career wont' resurrect. She can have 70% approvals today but when MSNBC is done with her she'll be toxic. I said this before her presidential run too...

A vacancy in the LG office could very well be an opportunity for Max Rose or Anthony Brindisi to make a comeback, as Hochul did after her half-term. Unlike in their house seats, their only worries would be in a primary.

dammit, this means Yang is going to go for it.

Lt. Gov. Andrew Yang?

Yang can't afford another loss or he'll be labeled a perennial candidate.

The only way he runs again would be if he was the overwhelming establishment favorite and had the backing of the party honchos. Probably for something more minor like State Assembly or the School Board.
