We're succumbing to Republican terrorist tactics. Jesus Christ...

Pass a clean CR or get out. If Republicans want to eviscerate the poor by taking away unemployment benefits, let them say so in a separate debate that doesn't involve fraying the fabric of our country.

Why would a clean CR fund a temporary benefit like the extended unemployment benefits?

The clean CR makes Republicans oppose extending unemployment benefits in a separate debate. These grand budget bargains are poor public policy because they allow politicians to evade public scrutiny with regards to budget cuts in the name of not shutting down the government.

Why would the Republicans even schedule a House debate on extending unemployment benefits once a clean CR was passed?

I guess I haven't been keeping up with the news lately, my bad.
