Lets make a constitutional amendment forbidding the government from legislating on victimless crimes like this. Is what consenting adults do on their own time REALYL that important to you?

As long as they don't get behind the wheel of a vehicle and go wiping out families on the highway, then no.

I wonder, if marijuana became legal, would drug lords stop killing each other?  hehehe . . . or better yet, if alcohol became illegal again, would Busch take up arms against Coors?

Legalize an addictive substance that intereferes with judgment and coordination and over a long period of time has shown to cause people to develop psychological problems such as loss of interest in social activities and jobs.

It's bad stuff, it should remain illegal.

You're too late. Alcohol is already legal.

Except that I don't think alcohol has the same kinds of effects as marijuana. In fact, as with some wines, if consumed in small regular amounts, it can be good for the blood, among other things. Anything carried to excess is bad, alcohol included. But marijuana is a mind-altering drug from the word go.

I personally don't think people should use it for recreation, but it should be legal.

If you guys really want to legalize pot then stop voting for people who want to keep it illegal.

Yes, I believe drug lords would stop killing each other due to lack of demand. But then of course very few drug lords are actually killing each other over marijuana as it's a relatively minor drug compared to what else is floating around on the streets. And about the alcohol, lol, no that wouldn't happen, those companies were actually in business during prohibition and they simply changed to producing a different product. But they still produced wine for the clergy (which wasn't illegal).
