When former Speaker of the U.S. House Newt Gingrich arrives in New Hampshire in mid-April, he won't only be hawking his new book, "Winning the Future."
The Republican State Committee plans to utilize Gingrich's lightening rod qualities to raise a few dollars. A fundraiser is planned for April 18 at a location to be determined, according to state committee chair Warren Henderson.
Gingrich hasn't entirely shut the door on a Presidential run, but on Tuesday, he told reporters in Washington, "It strikes me as implausible" that he will launch a campaign for President — or any other elected office.
