I find this Deeply Disturbing, for many reasons, most especially the establishment of official languages in the Most Serene Republic.
I'm certainly willing to address concerns you might have insofar as they do not conflict with the overall goal of constitutional reform.
Why are you concerned about official languages?
As a linguist, I think it's counterproductive to say that any particular set of languages serve as the Midwest's "official" ones. All languages are equally worthy of respect and consideration; regardless of the intention, the moniker "official" might be used to discriminate against citizens who do not speak them.
