Ben Carson is a very good case against race based affirmative action.

Ben Carson didn't go through Yale, medical school, and become a director at Johns Hopkins just because of affirmative action. Come on now.

Don't all West Point graduates receive free tuition in exchange for 5 years of military service?  That could be where he got the idea that he would get a full scholarship.

And West Point also mentioned that the general didn't have to ability to offer and guarantee entry and probably wouldn't suggest he did.
