As to NM - what's hideous about NM? A bit to rectangular, I'll admit, but it still beats Colorado and stuff hands down.
Can't really explain it; personal taste, I suppose.
Kentucky looks like Austria.
Germany looks like Pac-Man, and he's about to eat the Sudetenland (again).
Sweden looks like a pickle.
Colorado has a superior shape, unlike wannabes such as NM, SD, ND, KN, etc.
SC is cool because it's triangular. Inferior to a rectangle, but still cool.
FL looks like a gun, which is kind of cool.
