Cuomo's approval! I wonder what he'd get in NY if he was running for President.

he's governing as a radical neoliberal, like Blair or Clinton on steroids.  at war with the faithfully center-left Attorney General.  I don't see what there is to cheer about.

Why do some on the left dislike Cuomo so much? I don't know much about him other than gay marriage so I'm curious.

he's balanced (or not even balanced, I guess) the budget through attacking unions and education while capping property taxes and refusing any serious effort to make the income tax system more progressive.  probably the most important and vicious attack on the public sector of any (D) governor.  that said he is a very good politician w/ a bright future.  he's made the capitalists and right-wing very happy with all of this while being able to trumpet the gay marriage thing to attract malinformed and misguided leftish activists.
