Meh, more or less center-left. Was very surprised she lost, in NC. I disagree with her taking significant amounts of money from big tobacco... So center-left she shall be.

She represents North Carolina - how could she not take money from Big Tobacco? I have no problem with politicians shilling for their local industries - I would argue that is part of representing one's constituents: industry shareholders, industry employees, other people affected by that industry's success or failure, etc.

The problem is when businesses can spend unlimited amounts of money to have people shilling for them who really shouldn't be. Example: Rather than simply having the delegations of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut do their bidding, Wall Street has people like Richard Shelby of Alabama and Jeb Hensarling of Texas doing so.

She is not Pryor or Landreiu, as much as she is grouped with them. Hagan is fairly liberal.

She was a strong supporter of veteran's issues, something that cannot be said about the the senior Senator from North Carolina.
