Irrelevant. Wyoming isn't Idaho.

The beast got destroyed in both.

Not irrelevant at all. Idaho and Wyoming had the same caucus system, with only one caucus location per county. This requires a very powerful organization to win. The comparison is very apt.

lol. Wyoming's demographics were much better for Clinton, than in Idaho. In Idaho Clinton's cieling was probably around 30%.

Better than Idaho perhaps, but they weren't good, particularly with the undemocratic one-caucus-location-per-county system.

Hillary didn't contest Idaho at all and Obama held a rally there.

Bill spent a day or two in Wyoming earlier this week.

She competed and she lost. Yesterday she told Wyoming voters how great it was they got to take part...and that they should all vote. Tomorrow will she be downplaying their role and its result?

Hillary didn't make an effort in Idaho, plus it probably has even fewer democrats that Wyoming. WY currently has a democratic governor and ALMOST had a democratic congressman, while ID hasn't had a democrat elected to federal or statewide office in over a decade IIRC.

Big Horn goes 54-46 for Obama. That was Clintons last county with a chance a winning. Teton will be interesting. I think it may break 70% for Obama. It's a rich ski-resort county.

My guess is 60-39 Obama.

CNN is going to project in a couple of minutes once Teton starts.

Also, it appears that their evening coverage is going to feature Wyoming wrap-up coverage and IL-14 coverage. It's a great day when political junkies get national coverage of a special election!

Wow, I completely forgot Wyoming voted today.

Hmm, Obama at 59% with only Teton left...Well, hopefully Teton will push Obama to 60%! Smiley

So, what is it, an Obama net of 2-4?

Obama net of 2. In order to net 4 he'd need to somehow get to 64% with just Teton left, and I'm pretty sure that's mathematically impossible.

3, actually, since the state convention will decide the add-on superdelegate, so Obama will obviously get one of his supporters in (which is part of why caucuses are great to win).

But not Ohio.  Wink

It would not surprise me if Hillary was closer to on April 1 than on March 1 and on May 1 than on March 1.  The question is, will she'll be closer on June 1.

It's possible but, bluntly, I though WY would be a bit better.  There still may be a net gain (a minor one) for Clinton in March.  We should know Wednesday.

THIS is spin:

One Clinton aide yesterday derided Mr Obama’s victories in "boutique" caucus states rather than the hardscrabble terrain of the rustbelt, saying: "Obama has won the small caucus states with the latte-sipping crowd. They don’t need a president, they need a feeling."
