Sorry, but this is the dumbest statement in the world.  And no, I'm not talking about Soulty's comment, but the fact that there might be such a litmus test out there for someone.  Obama doesn't need to pander DOWN to someones racial mindset in order to run and succeed in politics.  The proper question is, are some blacks mature enough to vote for the best candidate?  Anyone voter who says that Obama isnt "black enough" needs to get slapped upside the head in the hopes that it might knock some sense into them.

For the first time in history there is an African American who is a serious, major, candidate for the Presidency, and all black America can do now is ask "Is he black enough?"

For what it's worth, I haven't heard anyone except loonies like Al Sharpton voice this question. It is, however, commonly mentioned by political commentators.
