Countries can’t withdraw until three years after the Paris Agreement went into effect. The Paris Agreement entered into force on November 4, 2016 — so this means the US would have to stay with it until November 2019. After that, the rules mandate a one-year notice period, which would mean
a withdrawal in late 2020 — after the next presidential election on November 3, 2020.Is there a quicker way to exit the Paris Agreement?
The Trump administration may choose to exit the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). The UNFCCC has nearly universal membership and provides the underlying framework for international cooperation to combat climate change. The US could leave the UNFCCC with one year’s notice, which gets it out of the Paris Agreement without having to wait until November 2020. This is the the “quickest path” out, as advocated by the conservative Heritage Foundation.

If Trump withdraws from UNFCCC that will be abandoning a United Nations body & officially saying Climate Change is a hoax. It won't be a bad deal (Paris agreement) excuse only as US will be leaving the one UN Body which handles Climate change. It will be a difficult decision (even tougher than the Paris deal).
If this buffoon is not the president & he goes through the normal route, then a next Democratic President will reverse it !
