I'm very suspicious of worldbank etc people getting into third world politics. Especially if they're very much the North's anointed candidates. These institutions are basically the heart of darkness as far as "development" corruption goes. Besides, I liked George Weah as a player. Cheesy

I was going to vote for Dean Barrow because I had this view of Belize as a joke country, but I 've just read up on him and now I don't feel like doing so.
What is Socrates supposed to have done that's so horrible? Give me a good argument and I might vote for him. Otherwise, I have a few more people on here beyond Balkenende that I don't like - Lee, Johnson-Sirleaf, Gruevski.
Portugal's economy is stalled for some years now, despite huge EU funds: contrary to Spain or even Greece, Portugal hasn't been able to come closer to EU average in living standards.
His government wastes EU money, doesn't reform and spends too much.
