How would one deduce that?

Obama 36%

Well, Obama is in the lead for November with Clinton voters, so there, or something.

Well, that would logically be about 54% female at most, no?  It's generally closer to 60%.

Thanks Alcon. You know, come to think of it, West Virginia, is along with Maine, North Dakota  and Alaska, one of the four states that has been deprived by not having been graced with my presence. That is the scenic route way of saying I don't know squat about the state.

CNN's exit poll reporting among Clinton supporters say that 75% would be dissatisfied if Obama won, 23% would be satisfied, and, uh...2% not "neither," but "other."  What's "other"?

"I would be neither satisfied nor dissatisfied, but I would be hungry"?

I think that is a lessor included category of dissatisfied perhaps. LOL.

If the patterns of elsewhere hold, then historically Democratic areas that aren't dominated by one industrial milieu or another. If. The word is if.

Clinton only beat Obama by 7% among Catholics. What's the matter with West Virginian Catholics?

There are only about 50 Catholics in the state, and they are all gay. I hope that helps. Another theory of course, is well they would tend to have a higher socio economic class here.

Obama is running to about form actually. In relatively down market Scotch Irish white areas he gets about 30%. 

Clinton with 74% of the vote in, is carrying Berkeley by 18% by the way.
