If I was a gambler, I really would have a cheeky £10 on England not qualifying from the group stage. I know it is "only" The Nations League, but that defeat at home to Hungary (who were excellent, by the way, and fully deserved to win) was the worst I have seen us as a team since THAT game against Iceland in 2016.

USA should have beaten Wales, and were by far the better team against us tonight. We were ridiculously lucky to come away with a draw.

The USA are a really exciting young team who will be a real threat in 2026, after 4 more years of development, especially as most of your players are now at clubs in top European Leagues.

It was painful to watch, from an England perspective.

Congrats to our colonial cousins. Fancy you guys to beat the Dutch, to be honest.

I'm very worried about Senegal on Sunday, because it is the sort of game we fully expect to win and then somehow screw it up. See; Iceland 2016.

Come on, America. You really can do this lot. No fear, get in to them, run them ragged.
I'm cheering for you (via the pub) against the Dutch.

I genuinely think all 4 of the matches could easily go either way.

My predictions, which will come back and bite me on the arse on Saturday evening....

Brazil 1-1 Croatia (Brazil win on Penalties)
Argentina 0-2 Netherlands (AET)
Morocco 1-3 Portgugal
France 2-4 England

This is utterly mental.
