That's probably only in the Eastern Time Zone states, too, I'd imagine.  I can't imagine Oklahoma or Texas releasing their exit polls before 5:00 CST (6:00 EST) due to our polls closing an hour later than the eastern states.  Would that be accurate?

I know this is covered in Erc's thread, but I wanted to give a snapshot here.

At 6:00 pm CT there are 161 delegates closing
At 7:00 pm CT there are 231 delegates closing completely
At 7:30 pm CT there are 40 delegates closing
At 8:00 pm CT there are 155 delegates closing completely
At 11:00 pm CT there are 28 delegates closing

Donald Trump is holding a press conference tonight at 8:00 pm CT/9:00 pm ET.  Normally they don't announce an exact time for a victory/concession speech this early.  What is that all about?

I think Trump wants to be guaranteed that people watch.  9pm is primetime viewing hour.  Any later and he'd lose people because they're heading to bed.

Very well could be, still seems odd, though.

In all my life, I have never seen Oklahoma be so competitive in any presidential contest.  I know it's only a primary, but both contests are way too close to be called and could be late callers.  I could get used to this!  If Trump is the nominee, I can't see a 77-county GOP sweep.  It will be probably be called for Trump right away in November, though, but I like this actual bonafide contest!!!
