Confederate flags are going down everywhere, Obamacare was upheld (again...), and now same-sex couples can marry in every state in the Union. Its been a great week for America!

^^ That!

only surprise here is it was 5-4. despite his recently overblown undeserved rep as a "moderate", i figured Rooberts would want to ensure being on the winning side for posterity/textbooks, etc.

I feel the exact same way, and I'll hold off on hoping that over time Roberts might possibly drift a bit to the left. Still, I regard him as a bit unpredictable. If it is challenged again in some roundabout way or whatever, he may vote to uphold it.

The bigot thinks because the Notorious RBG and Kagan officiated same sex marriages in the past, they needed to recuse themselves.

I know JCL lives in his own world, but to think that a justice can only rule one time on an issue is a little bit asinine to put it nicely.
