It would look like the bar scene in 'Star Wars'.

More like the defendants at the Nuremberg Trials.

The rubbish you spew is actually sickening. I'm done with it.

Why would Romney choose a Lt Gov most Floridians have never heard of?

I don't see Huntsman as Secretary of State for a few reasons. Romney doesn't seem to like him personally. And I would imagine that he would already appoint a few other Mormons to prominent positions, so he may be self-conscious about that.

My guesses.
Vice-President: Tim Pawlenty.
Chief of Staff: Mitch Daniels
Secretary of State: Someone largely unknown to the public. Or David Petraeus.
Attorney General: Scott Brown (if he loses the Senate race)
Chris Christie
Secretary of Defense: Condoleeza Rice (R-CA)
Secretary of the Treasury: Mike Leavitt. (R-UT)
Secretary of the Interior: Raul Labrador (R-ID)
Secretary of Agriculture: Kay Bailey Hutchninson (R-TX)
Secretary of Commerce: Meg Whitman. (R-CA)
Or Judd Gregg (R-NH)
Secretary of Labor: John Kline. (R-MN)
Secretary of Health and Human Services: Bobby Jindal (R-LA)
Secretary of Transportation: Rocky Anderson (D-UT)
Secretary of Energy: Marsha Blakcburn. (R-TN)
Secretary of Homeland Security: Lindsey Graham (R-SC)
Secretary of Education: Jeb Bush (R-FL)

LOL.  Wasn't that whole thing a dirty joke about zero gravity sex giving guys some extra lift? ...and Gingrich really wants to be the astronaut with THAT mission.

Wouldn't Haley Barbour get something?

Whatever it would be, it'd certainly contain fewer familiar faces than some guesses so far. Romney doesn't have to stock every position with a Governor or member of Congress.

I am going to make an outside the box pick, Clint Eastwood as Secretary of the Interior.

I do believe he brings Condi back, possibly as Secretary of Homeland Security.

Meg Whitman claims she won't accept a Cabinet post:

http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0812/80211.html?hp=r10

Then again, it's not unheard of for people to deny interest in another job up until the moment that it's offered.

The hackishness is strong in this thread.

You can float names if you want, but it's difficult to see who it might be, because
a) Romney picks, himself. We were largely in the dark on the Vice Presidency for this reason and the media speculated about that constantly.
b) The media doesn't really care; we don't get any journalists asking Romney or leaks from the campaign. The media will begin to care after the election to see if any of them are embarrassing and then derail those. Before, the media doesn't care.
c) We're political junkies and are mainly interested in politics; whereas Cabinet members are frequently experts in their fields; their appointment to a Cabinet position is their first foray into real politics. Not all of them (some are politicians), but like 3/5 or 2/3. These people would be difficult to guess even if you were an expert at the topic in question; we know politicians but most of these positions won't be taken by politicians.

Politico predicts who'll be considered for various Cabinet spots:

http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0812/80233.html?hp=f3

Mike Leavitt: either Chief of Staff or Sec. of Treasury
Glenn Hubbard: either Fed Reserve Chairman or Sec. of Treasury
Dan Senor: either National Security Advisor or Deputy Chief of Staff
Kevin Madden: White House spokesman
Ed Gillespie: "well-positioned for a top counselor job"
Ed Rendell: Sec. of Transportation (this seems rather far-fetched to me)
Beth Myers: senior advisor ("the new Valerie Jarrett")
Jack Gerard: either Chief of Staff or Sec. of Energy
Luis Fortuno: either Sec. of Commerce or Sec. of Interior
Ben Ginsburg: White House counsel
Peter Flaherty & Bob White: "some kind of broad strategic role like Myers"
Kerry Healey: foreign policy advice of some kind
Tim Pawlenty: Sec. of Education
Rob Portman: Sec. of Treasury
Robert Zoellick: Sec. of State
Bobby Jindal: Sec. of HHS
Harold Hamm, James Connaughton, Linda Stuntz, or Joe Barton: Sec. of Energy if it doesn't go to Gerard
Bob McDonnell, Bill Bolling, Marion Blakey, or John Mica: Sec. of Transportation

Here is a model -- for economic issues:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrew_Mellon

Huge tax cuts for the super-rich, slight ones if at all for the non-rich, near-abolition of the estate tax (or "death tax"), huge reductions in government spending including the legendary "waste and inefficiency".
