Cruz has the grassroots operation and a base of devoted activists - which makes him the safe bet in a run-off election that will definitely be decided by organization and enthusiasm.

Bold prediction: Cruz breaks 60%.

David Dewhurst is a desperate man. He's 66 and suffering from an entitlement complex and a severe late-life crisis. He knew that if he lost this primary that he'd be finished. Now that he knows it to be a near certainty, Dewhurst is entering the violent cycle that entitled politicians enter when they are on the verge of large scale rejection: denial. "Everybody LOOK! My opponent defacto murdered this woman's son!"- especially heinous and distasteful, one can only hope that it makes Dewhurst infamous.

I early voted for Cruz this evening. It looks like a landslide is brewing if Dallas and Tarrant counties are any indication.
