Now we have a tiny possibility that New York will have a 27 D - 0 R delegation in 2018.
Elise Stefanik might pose a bit of an obstacle to that little fantasy.

Stefanik is overrated. Three words: Jaime Herrera Beutler. She was considered this unbeatable, charismatic, entrenched representative in a light red district, very similar to Stefanik. Well, guess what? She just had an awful showing in the primary, with Dems getting a majority of the vote, and could well be on track to lose this November. JHB and Stefanik are similar in a lot of ways, and Stefanik is far from unbeatable in this environment.

I will concede that she's probably the safest of the NY Republicans given Collins' arrest, though.

Solid, I hope you're not planning to hurt Peter King, Elise Stefanik, and Tom Reed.

Peter King got outraised last quarter. He's still a massive favorite but he's not going to be able to coast by and hide in his entrenchment bunker like he would be able to most years.

Peter King, Lee Zeldin are not going anywhere.

We'll see. VA-05 should've been safe, but the Republicans went ahead and replaced Garrett with a Bigfoot erotica enthusiast. If they find a good candidate to run in his place, they're fine, but if they mess up, I could still see a flip. Upstate New York is unpredictable.
