Hopefully not Gingrich.  It just shouts Two Old White Men and also both unfaithful to their wives.  Perhaps a Clinton/Feinstein ticket would make a Gingrich pick less painful.

I think that Croker would be the second best pick that Trump could make after Kasich.  People vote less for a ticket because of the positions the VP brings but rather because of the negative baggage of that person.  Croker is a moderate who won't say anything stupid and he would bring foreign policy savvy to the ticket as well.  He won't help carry Tennessee as it doesn't need any help.  But he might push Georgia and NC to the GOP.  I have my fingers crossed that Trump is smart enough to go with this proven winner. 

Kasich would probably be better as he would bring more experience and help carry Ohio.

Gingrich would probably be as negative a choice as Palin or Agnew.  He might help bring home Georgia, but really, he never held elective office outside of his CD, and at least once, he barely was reelected.  Hopefully, The Donald is smarter than he seems to be and is able to listen to wise people about this choice.
