He's safe for now. Unless a billionaire democrat comes from nowhere and spends like Bloomberg. Then Sanders is screwed.


But that's unlikely so Sanders wins big.

Nope, that happened in 2006: a rich Republican named Richard Tarrant ran against him when the seat opened up; Tarrant spent $7 million of his own money and lost by 30 points.
