I believe Gabu is the best candidate for PPT due to his high level of activity and his ability to compromise and be fair.

Bono, Super and Gabu would all be great PPT's.  However, ideologically, I believe Gabu best represents the Senate and Atlasia.

I urge all Senators to stand for election and to vote for themselves. Tongue Just so the Senate notices it'll need to introduce IRV voting in this election.

Why withdraw?  I personally would rather have as many candidates as possible to make sure that the decision is representative of what people want.  Plus, it gives people a choice, which is never a bad thing, even if the eventual outcome would be the same.

I'm sorry that I'm late. As you could tell by my running throughout the building, I was trying to get here as fast as I could.  Smiley

The vote for PPT is now open.

If nominated, I will not accept.  If elected, I will not serve.

I vote for Gabu.

Well, I just read the following clause in the Constitution:

Clause 6. The Senate shall choose their other officers, and also a President pro tempore, in the absence of the Vice President.

Because of the fact that this makes it sound as if the Senate doesn't need the VP to do stuff, and because of the fact that it would appear that a PPT is direly needed, I hereby declare voting to be closed, a majority having been reached, and swear myself in as PPT. Smiley
