Beshear is up by 2 in a Cameron internal and by 8 in his own internal.

And I expect the result to fall between Beshear +2 and Beshear +8 so it tracks.

There has been though. Emerson, which found Beshear +16.

Beshear probably will reach 52%. I guess the only question is how much of the vote does Cameron get. Personally, I think he still gets about 47%, so it about lines up with my expectation of Beshear winning between four and five points.

Am I wrong or does Cameron have yet to lead a single poll this cycle?

You're not wrong, this is quite literally true.

I wouldn’t rule out a Cameron win, but Beshear definitely looks to be in good shape. Sticking with my Beshear +4 prediction.

At this time in 2015, Jack Conway was ahead by 3-5 points on average in polls, then Matt Bevin won by almost 9 points. I do think Beshear is the slight favorite (maybe +2 or so), but this race is far from over.

Conway was not an incumbent.

Same poll had McGrath beating Barr 51-44 in 2018, McConnell beating McGrath by only 4 in 2020, Trump beating Biden by 12 and 15 points, and Beshear beating Bevin 48-39. Throw. it. in. the. trash.
