Israel is one of our closest allies, and with the current hodge-podge mixture of Israeli-Arab territories, a two-state solution is unfeasible.
Out of curiosity, what would your preferred solution be? Do you support some kind of unified Israeli-Arab state, or do you think that the conflict cannot be resolved peacefully in the current climate?Ideally, some sort of unified state with equal rights for Israelis and Palestinians. I'm of the opinion that breaking up countries almost always causes more harm than good and should be reserved as a last resort (see: post-Yugoslav Balkans, India/Pakistan wrt Kashmir, etc.).
