Hillary just put out this message on facebook:

Kinda looks like a backing down, sorta.    Oh well.
God knows that I am no fan of Hillary, but I appreciate the apology and I consider it to be sincere. First of all, Hillary is the consummate politician who has been pursuing the Presidency for years. She knows the game and she knows that comments like this do not go over well. That being said, she is right (I want to barf for typing that) that there is a deplorable element of Trump supporters (David Duke and company) who are hijacking the movement just like they tried to do with the Ron Paul movement. So while of course her comments and subsequent backtracking are politically motivated like literally everything else she does, I am still reasonable enough to know what point she was trying to make.

Definitely doesn't help her out on the whole "I'm totally likable!" thing that she's been going after. I don't see this causing her any problems unless Trump ties it in with the bigger picture, which I'm sure he's itching to do.

I think Clinton is ready for a big-picture debate on these issues against Trump.

Well, it's certainly one of the less ... unpleasant things he's re-tweeted.

Really? Outside of people who are offended for being called out ... I haven't seen any huge backlash to this.
