This story just says that the committee doing the VP search will include Carson, not that he’ll necessarily be leading it:

Haley, Martinez, and Sandoval are the best choices.  For Trump to have a prayer, he needs to improve his numbers with minorities (Latinos especially) and women.

Pleased to see that Castro is losing "umpf" in this VP race.

Would love to see Kaine or Perez.

Kasich source tells @PeterAlexander there is NO chance he will be Trump’s VP. “Zero chance, I can’t be any more clear. It will not happen.”

If he picked Jindal, I would so ready to vote for Trump.

Are you trying to separate Jindal from the state he ran into the ground? Good idea.

I recognize that he likely has no political in Louisiana due to his low approval ratings after oil prices crashed.  I'd like him to get the VP nod or at least a cabinet slot so he can continue to use his wonkish talents for the good of America.

Yeah, Scott Brown seems like the obvious choice. Somewhat moderate, hasn't really done anything crazy yet, from New Hampshire. Him being pro-choice could be a roadblock.

Either would be an excellent choice.

Can I ask how Scott Brown would help Trump?

Mary Fallin is by far the best choice Trump has at this time. She doesn't come with any significant baggage, has views acceptable to the GOP voter base, and will help win back at least a bit of the female vote. I doubt that could be said of anyone else willing to be his VP.

She comes with tremendous baggage.  Sex scandals galour with her.

Can Trump's VP pick essentially make or break his chances at winning the GE?

Did that stop Trump?

His best choices are Chris Christie and Mike Huckabee.
Maybe Jon Huntsman, too, who used to be his biggest foe and now wants to make it up with TRUMP.

Fallin only won reelection 56-41, losing several counties. That's not good for a Republican in OKLAHOMA.

Portman (confimed), Haley (confirmed) and Martinez will never be on the ticket. They are smarter than that. So beyond that, who is left?

I'm starting to seriously think Trump might pick Scarborough.

Like I thought the A-listers want nothing to do with a Trump ticket. So that leaves what?

Christie, Sessions, Fallin, Brown, Blackburn?, Huntsman? or Corker?

Fallin says that she would be "honored" to receive a call from Trump

Please please please please please not Trump/Kasich.  Kasich needs to go back to Ohio and never again appear in public.
