Who should and will make it in?

My predictions:
IN:  St. Mary's, Middle Tennessee, La Salle, Boise State, Ole Miss
OUT: Southern Miss, Kentucky, Tennessee, Maryland, Virginia, UMass, Alabama

It's complete BS that a team like Southern Miss with an RPI of 32 will get left out, but all signs point to them being left out.

Got it right, but it's still BS.

No.  If a SWAC or whatever team was one of the 64 best, it can play.

On a semi-related note, COME ON SOUTHERN!  PLEASE PULL THIS OUT!

Harvard taking up the #14 making-a-run mantle from Davidson earlier in the day.  up four at half despite being -4 in turnover differential

I've got UNM as a Sweet 16 team knocking off Arizona in the 3rd round and losing to Ohio State in the Sweet 16.  I've only lost one Sweet 16 team today, but I don't want to make it two.  Let's pick it up, Lobos!!!

this is why I always have had an aversion to getting heavily involved in the bracket thing, it leads to a perversion of the experience, where perceived and selfish self-interest trumps justice and Beauty.  case-in-point: at a high school party in '06 everyone was actively rooting for tourney favorite #1 Connecticut as upstart #16 Albany took a 50-38 lead early in the second half.

What's wrong with rooting for favorites instead of underdogs?  Unless I actively dislike the team, I'd rather see the teams who are actually good play in the later rounds.

this is fascism.

It makes me sad when a great team like Missouri last year has one bad game and their whole season goes down in flames, while a bad team like Norfolk State lives to fight another day.

Yes, I appreciate La Salle a lot right now.  Now Ole Miss fans can go back to not caring about basketball for another decade or so.  It was getting really weird down here...
