Hopefully she won't be writing it herself... I doubt she can spell "candidate."

Well this may be the real beginning of her Presidential campaign. If so, I see the following timeline:

Nov 2009 to August 2010 will be about her book. It will go to the top of the bestseller lists and stay there for a long time. Starting August 2010 she will be touring the country for Republican candidates, and will attract large rallies. This will allow her to claim credit for whatever gains the Republicans inevitably make in 2010, which could be sizable. This sets up her announcement of candidacy by January 2011. Then it is a one year sprint to the Iowa caucus. I expect her to be made over to be a non-threatening, wonkish candidate. There will be articles from some mainstream columnists professing to be surprised at how level-headed and reasonable she sounds. The gossip about her family will probably continue. And so on and so on.

Will there be a fold-out of any kind?

Don't tell me, as the title of this thread suggests a very bad sexual pun.

I doubt Palin could either, bro. She didn't write this book. Lynn Vincent did.

One of the stops on her book tour is Sioux City, IA:

http://www.barnesandnobleinc.com/press_releases/2009_nov_9_sarah_palin.html

This'll be Palin's first trip to Iowa since the fall campaign last year.  Other prospective 2012ers have visited Iowa and other early primary states several times now in the past year, but Palin hasn't done so yet.

EDIT: Also, as of now, Palin's book is at #3 on Amazon:

Huckabee's Christmas book is at #90.

I want to buy it. I'm curious to see her side of the story, as it has been thus far, incomplete.

She could type 400 pages if she want.  Anybody could, it just takes quite a bit of free time. Just check your grammar and spelling, and you're good to go!

Honestly, it's not THAT hard to write 5 pages a day, especially if you have nothing else to do, and 5 pages/day * 80 days = 1 four hundred page book

Notoriety sells. Controversy sells. Of course it sells only until it loses its shock value.
