Battlefield Earth.

It was on Encore last night as part of a tribute to John Travolta (how sad...)...

Probably one of the 10 worst films I've ever seen, but at least it was entertainingly bad.

Still haven't tried Brokeback Mountain, jmf?

I didn't know someone could wear out a dvd...but apparently Gramps has done that to his copies of Brokeback.

Watched about 20 minutes of Passion of Christ last night, but it was so dull I couldn't go on.  May try again tonight.

Really?  Say what you want about the theology but I liked the passion...and some of the scenes are downright freaky.

Do any of the 90 minute episodes of the BBC series Sherlock (2010) count?

I enjoyed it.

Solid Solid movie.

Deuce Bigalo European Giggalo.  Terrible movie, but it has its moments.

Hobo with a Shotgun.

Delightfully gory...plot was, as expected, retarded.

Jingle All the Way.

Obviously nothing special in terms of the film arts but it is one of the few enjoyable Christmas movies.

Tucker and Dale vs. Evil

Not too bad.  Funny for the most part, the very end dragged a little.

Fast Five

Yeah, I figured I would be unambiguous about where my 2012 loyalties are. I can't stomach Romney and co.

Another sign of the impending apocalypse...

Licence to Kill.

(I still prefer Living Daylights, but it was good.)

2012 was on FX last night.  Terrible, but still worth a watch given the calendar and lack of anything else on tv.  I imagine it will be relegated to the ash heap of terrible movies and never seen again when we reach 2013?
