For the record, I am working with Senator HappyWarrior on a comprehensive bill dealing with Libya, which hopefully will be finished soon.

so you have any idea when? because I don't see much point in considering this bill if something more specific is about to be proposed.

Yeah, I mean we could always add a ton of amendments to this as a stop-gap measure until the aforementioned bill is introduced, but if it's not going to take too long...

I have to say that the government's response to the Libya situation - and I'm including us in that Tongue - has been somewhat lacking. I mean, I know it takes the SoEA time to decide the appropriate course of action, but, as important as, say, banning declawing of cats is perhaps we should make addressing this a priority? Just a thought.
